Learn to make this beautiful intermediate pendant with me!
Even if you have never made a frame pendant before I will show you how to make it step by step in this PDF tutorial
~ Small teardrop cabochon approx 3/4 - 1"tall. (This one is Labradorite)
~ 1 x 5 or 6mm pointed back faceted stone to complement. Mine is a Cubic Zirconia.
~ 1mm/18 gauge square frame wire approx 15" long plus a couple of short bits for the frame.
~ 0.8mm/20 gauge round wire as follows:
*1 x 5" piece for the faceted stone
*4 x 8" pieces for the bail and decoration wires
*1 x 6" piece for the rope embellishments
*4 x 4" pieces for the fan shaped woven sections
*1 x 6" piece for final adornments
~ A few meters of 0.315mm/28 or 0.4mm/26 gauge weaving wire on a bobbin if you have one
* Please note these lengths are only a guide and will depend on your size and shape of stone - cut a little extra if you are unsure.
~ Tools ~
Flat or chain nose pliers, Nylon pliers, flush cutters/side snips, bale making pliers, plastic bobbin for your weaving wire, domed chasing hammer and a steel dapping block.
